CORIOLANO AURÉLIO DE ALMEIDA CAMARGO SANTOS is the chairman of the law firm ALMEIDA CAMARGO ADVOCATES.
He is earning a master degree in the Law of Information Society and works with law for more than 20 years, adding two decades of work in the area of taxation and business law.

He was member of the Study Commission in Competition and Economical Regulation (CECORE) of Brazilian Lawyers Association in 2006, where he participated in the group of tax studies.
In 2006 he was named by the president of Brazilian Lawyers Association to act as a permanent member of the Cooperative Commission of Brazilian Lawyers Association where he coordinates the Group of Studies in Technological Infrastructure.
In 2006, he was a consultant member in the commission “Brazilian Lawyers Association goes to Universities”.
As a specialist lawyer in Civil Process Law, named in 2005 by the Union of Engineers in São Paulo, he is a member of the Committee in Relative Studies to the Development of Environmental Politics in the Congress on Environment in Vale do Paraíba - ECOVALE. (2005/06/07)
He is a member of ECOVALE Technical Council, which is an International Environmental Forum idealized and organized by the Union of Engineers in São Paulo.
As member of the Group on Tax Studies of Industry Federation in São Paulo, he has articles and opinions published in several newspapers and specialized "Websites" with emphasis in the Fiscal-tax area.
He participates in several study groups of the National Council on Public Finance Politics in which he presented several successful studies and collaborative opinions to governmental action.
In 2007, he obtained favorable appreciation from CONFAZ - GT 15, SINTEGRA/ICMS – Information Technology, to the advanced technology in the safety of national tax system.
Since 2005 he has been a member in the Commission of Normative Study for Safety Printed Papers, by ABNT - Brazilian Association of Technical Norms. He is also a member in the Commission of Normative Study for Papers and Cards of Safety - ABNT/CB29 for the Brazilian Committee of Cellulose and Paper.
In 2006/07, he participated as a guest member on the Task force of Taxation of AMCHAM Brazil.
Nominated by the Governor of São Paulo in 2005, he holds a position as Judge in the Fourth Camera on the Eminent Tax Tribunal of the Business and Finance Office in São Paulo (2006/2007).
He is currently a faculty member in the Public Finance College of São Paulo - FAZESP. As a guest, he participated in several Groups of Studies, presented several lectures on the current scenery of cybernetic and illicit crimes practiced through advanced technological instruments linked to the Public System of Digital Bookkeeping and Electronic Receipt.
Lawyer and researcher on Cybernetic Crimes, he is currently a member of the International High Technology Crime Investigation Association.
In 2006 and 2007 he was a guest member on the Task forces for Combat to Piracy and Intellectual Property of AMCHAM Brazil when he published several articles in specialized magazines and newspapers.
He submitted an article which was accept for the Examining board, composed by Scientists of the technological segment from Universities and Centers of Researches that resulted in the publication of the scientific article about the risks of the NF-e in the Book: Proceedings of the First International Congress on Forensic Computer Science Investigation
Member of Advisory and Technical Scientific Council of ICCyber´2.007, IV International Conference in Cyber Crime Investigations. Member of Advisory Council and Technical Scientific of the II International Conference on Forensic Computer Science ICoFCS´ 2007. Member of Advisory Council and Technical Scientific of the I International Training Conference and Exposition of HTCIA IBTCE´2007'S.
Those three conferences combined represent the largest event on safety of information and cybernetic crimes in Latin America and one of the largest in the world, organized by the Brazilian Association of Specialists in High Technology (ABEAT).
For the past ten years, Coriolano Camargo has received delegations of several countries, having acquired experience in the subjects of Business Law, Taxation, Customs and International Trade.
